Technical Solutions Engineer I

Job Title: Technical Solution Engineer I
Department: Sales
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Mulberry, Florida
Shift: 1st

Purpose / Summary:
Develop and maintain the knowledge on customers' systems and applications. Work closely with the sales team to optimize and trouble shoot any of the customer systems. Be involved on site visits as needed to analyze the systems/pump operation, and build up the relationships and trust of our key customers together with the sales team. Follow up with necessary KSB GIW teams, and ensure tasks are closed in a timely manner. Support the sales growth for all KSB products and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide system analysis and support with the customer and KSB GIW. Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for existing and new applications. Aid in providing recommendations to optimize maintenance and operational procedures on the customer sites, including preparation of the technical documentation and investigation reports related to application improvements. Establish and facilitate intercompany relationships. Assist other team members as needed with customer support , including joint customer visits. Early recognition of any conflicts/problem areas for a quick resolution. Assist the rest of the sales team with developing appropriate strategies, goals, tactics, etc. for the benefit of the region and GIW. Available after hours and on weekends for customer emergencies. Comply with the company rules, policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.

Employment Requirements (minimum):

Education:

  • Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma with 5 years of industry experience.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Mechanical and Technical aptitude (Should be capable of reading and understanding drawing layouts and parts sheets
  • Develop an understanding of pumping systems and customer applications
  • Develop fluency in KSB GIW pump selection tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
  • Partnership and collaboration with internal teams and external customers
  • Organization, communication, report generation
  • Growth drive

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily desk-type duty
  • Frequent walking and standing

Travel Requirements:
