RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, an innovative technology company based in Boston, MA, is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer (Robotics) who is passionate about technology and enjoys solving complex problems while working closely with customers.
Summary:
The Technical Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting customers and driving the success of their cutting-edge solutions. In this hybrid position, this person will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless product installations, resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot products for customer deployments
* Lead product demonstrations and training sessions to educate customers on product capabilities and best practices
* Provide on-site and remote technical support during pre-sales and post-sales phases
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with engineering and support teams to achieve company goals
* Manage and triage field service tickets, performing analysis to drive resolutions
* Scope product applications, evaluate performance, and assist with installations
* Develop tools and procedures to streamline issue resolution and technical processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* 4+ years of experience in a related technical solutions or sales engineering role
* Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
* Knowledge of automation systems, robotics, or related technologies
* Knowledge of Windows, and Linux operating systems
* Knowledge of robotics platforms, safety standards and Robotics Operating Systems and sensors
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a solution-oriented mindset
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Willingness to travel 30-50%
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
