Description
M MBR Systems, LLC, an Integrated Water Services company, is looking for a hands-on Technical Services Manager to support the delivery, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex field issues, working directly with customers and contractors, and applying practical mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, or equipment troubleshooting experience in real-world environments.
In this role, you will be involved in everything from system installation and commissioning to operator training, warranty support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. You will self-perform technical work when needed while also coordinating internal and external resources to ensure customers receive responsive, high-quality support.
What You'll Do
  • Support the delivery, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of wastewater MBR systems and equipment.
  • Work closely with contractors, customers, and internal teams to keep modular wastewater treatment solutions moving forward on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot field issues involving mechanical, biological, electrical, electronic, equipment, and controls-related systems.
  • Help resolve customer issues quickly and effectively while providing strong technical and customer support.
  • Read and interpret mechanical, civil, schematic, and technical drawings to support installation, verification, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate field work, site logistics, inspection activities, safety expectations, and utility installation support as needed.
  • Document service activities, field work, and support provided.
  • Contribute ideas and field feedback that support product development, customer support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will bring:
  • 4+ years of technical services experience, or 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • A technical background in equipment maintenance, preferably involving mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting water or wastewater plant issues involving mechanical, biological, electronic, or control systems.
  • Familiarity with control systems, such as Allen Bradley, and experience with control panels or PLC programming.
  • Experience with manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, field erection methods, equipment operation, layout verification, or inspection coordination.
  • Familiarity with water and wastewater plant technology, civil systems, underground utilities, domestic water, fire water, storm drain, sanitary sewer, grading, or sitework.
  • Experience working with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Raken, and Microsoft Office.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with MBR technology is a plus.

Success in This Role Looks Like
You are a practical, solutions-focused technical professional who can stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly with customers and field teams, and solve problems quickly and effectively. You are comfortable moving between hands-on troubleshooting, field coordination, customer communication, and documentation.
Physical and Travel Requirements
This role requires up to 50% travel to job sites during the workweek (M-F) as needed, along with the ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
What We Offer
