Job Title: Technical Security Specialist
Reports to: Area Security Manager
Department: Security
Location: Arizona
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Technical Security Specialist will be an integral part of the Trulieve Security Department, reporting to the Area Manager. This role will focus on research, preparation and analyzation of information needed to document all findings. The Technical Security Specialist will also be responsible for installation, repair/maintenance of security controls, alarm devices and cameras as needed. The Technical Security Specialist will assume responsibility for all other implied tasks as needed.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist as technical advisors on all security threats posed to operations, making recommendations on security mitigation devices, systems and procedures. This also includes security submissions of required diagrams, drawings and designs, as needed or requested.
  • Assist with responses to communicate company asset loss, facility response, damage, theft, or any other needs of the organization.
  • Maintain logs and written documents that can be audited.
  • Must travel to their assigned locations, which may result in overnight stays.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1 or more years of hands-on Technician work experience
  • 1 or more years inside of a Security Operations environment (preferred)
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD software such as Bluebeam Revu, Visio, Adobe or similar.
  • Must be effective in communication, conflict management/De-Escalation, people management, reporting, critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
  • Awareness of Cyber Security and Network is preferred
  • Must possess or demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Must have the ability to prioritize time management effectively
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clear driving record
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
