Outside Sales – Civil / Water Infrastructure

Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area | Regional Travel | Confidential Client


We’re working with a growing organization in the waterworks and civil infrastructure space seeking a Sales Rep to support project development and drive business across the Dallas/Fort Worth market.


This is a field-facing role focused on working directly with contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders to support technical sales, project execution, and long-term relationship development. It’s a strong fit for someone with a civil or construction background who enjoys being involved in both the technical and commercial sides of projects.


Position Overview

The Sales Rep will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from early opportunity identification through project completion. This individual will serve as a technical resource to customers while developing and growing relationships across the territory.


Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders

• Support project development through technical consultation, product selection, and recommendations

• Manage the full sales cycle, including quoting, project support, and follow-up

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory

• Review project plans and provide solutions based on customer needs

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution

• Track opportunities and maintain pipeline visibility


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field experience.

• 2+ years of experience in civil, construction, or technical sales environments

• Strong understanding of construction projects, utilities, or infrastructure

• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and stakeholders

• Self-driven with strong relationship-building skills

• Comfortable managing a territory and working in a field-based role


Preferred Experience

• Experience with waterworks, utilities, or infrastructure-related products

• Background working with contractors, municipalities, or engineering firms

• Exposure to specification or project-based sales environments


Compensation & Benefits
