Job description

DirectPath Recruiting Services is partnering with a growing electronic manufacturing organization in Huntsville, Alabama, to identify an experienced Manager of EMS Sales & Marketing.


This is a key leadership role focused on driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, and expanding Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) across industrial and commercial markets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of EMS sales, technical knowledge, marketing strategy, customer development, and team leadership.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead sales and marketing efforts for Electronic Manufacturing Services across industrial and commercial markets.
  • Develop and grow new and existing customer relationships and identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing to develop customer-focused solutions and support successful program launches.
  • Serve as a key customer contact for sales and technical questions, providing solutions, samples, and technical documentation as needed.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term marketing strategies designed to increase revenue and market share.
  • Prepare quotations for standard and custom products and develop pricing strategies to support profitable growth.
  • Conduct market research and analyze financial, technological, demographic, and competitive trends.
  • Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports while monitoring results against established objectives.
  • Represent the organization at industry trade shows and events to generate new leads and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Lead, develop, and supervise EMS Sales & Marketing personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and work assignment.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of related sales, marketing, EMS, electronics manufacturing, or technical business development experience.
  • Strong understanding of electronic manufacturing services and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a sales and/or marketing team is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
