Position Overview:
We are seeking a senior-level technical professional with strong manufacturing and engineering experience to support project execution and capital investment oversight within a dynamic aerospace environment.
This role partners closely with senior engineers, project managers, and executive leadership to ensure that technical decisions, project execution, and capital expenditures align with overall financial performance. The ideal candidate has progressed through manufacturing or engineering roles, brings hands-on experience, and can confidently challenge assumptions, validate cost drivers, and forecast project spending.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner directly with engineering and manufacturing teams to evaluate project scope, technical assumptions, and cost drivers
* Track, analyze, and challenge capital expenditures (CapEx) across active and planned projects
* Provide financial oversight of project performance, including forecasting and spend tracking
* Participate in project and technical meetings to ensure alignment between engineering execution and financial outcomes
* Use hands-on manufacturing knowledge to validate estimates, identify risks, and question assumptions
* Prepare and communicate project and financial updates to senior and executive leadership
* Support decision-making around capital investments and project prioritization
Required Qualifications:
* Significant hands-on experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technical project environments
* Proven ability to work alongside senior engineers and project managers in complex project settings
* Experience with capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, tracking, and justification
* Ability to forecast project spending and monitor financial performance
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership
* Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, project execution, and cost drivers
* US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments
* Background in technical project leadership, operations, or engineering management
* Exposure to financial tracking tools (e.g., Cobra, Tiger, or similar)
* Bachelor"s degree or equivalent hands-on experience
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Has grown through manufacturing or engineering roles into senior-level responsibilities
* Brings strong technical credibility and can challenge engineering and project decisions
* Comfortable operating at both the shop floor level and executive level
* Has experience supporting or influencing capital investment decisions
* Not a pure financial analyst-technical experience is critical to success
* Has background in aerospace industry manufacturing
