Job description

Frencken America Mechatronics is seeking a Project Manager to join our Engineering team. This position is responsible for day‑to‑day execution, project cost, quality, risk, safety, and schedule management of engineering projects and for facilitating project administration from quotation phase through prototype phase.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Review customer RFQ and prepare required documentation, such as submittals, bid packages, contracts, invoices, change orders, and other administrative requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, with adherence to ISO9001:2015 quality controls and documentation requirements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects’ progress and performance, providing regular status updates.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide project support to procurement and production teams as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to ensure project alignment and transparency.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Five (5) years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CAD software.
