Job description

  • Oversee and manage the installation and startup of a foam production factory project with direction and technical guidance from the European technical group
  • Responsible for the implementation and coordination of the project from start to factory completion (approximately 2 years)
  • Manage timing, resources, and cost for the duration of the project
  • The project is a combination of the installation and startup of equipment sourced both in Europe and locally
  • Help source and coordinate potential local equipment suppliers with specification guidance from the European technical team
  • Coordinate with European team members and chosen equipment suppliers, especially related to schedules and meeting installation and startup timelines
  • Responsible for achieving project milestones, costs and technical specification requirements
  • Cost tracking versus budgets and equipment construction contracts
  • Coordinate and arrange temporary offices, sanitary facilities, secure storage areas, etc. during the equipment installation until permanent facilities are available
  • Work with affected groups, support the setup of infrastructure needed for the production facility, including power distribution, compressed air supply, specialty areas of the plant, maintenance, tooling, and quality areas, offices, social rooms, support facilities, etc.
  • Strong technical project management skills and experience
  • Experience in managing the technical installation and setup of an industrial facility
  • Strong communication skills with technical experts and equipment suppliers
  • Experience in using MS Office and MS Project
