Our team delivers large-scale, data-driven initiatives that enable business insight, operational efficiency, and enterprise-wide value across Disney Experiences. The Disney Experiences (DX) Transformation Delivery Management Organization (DMO) partners closely with Business Functional Teams, Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Technology leaders to execute complex, initiatives that accelerate value by enabling data analytics and AI-ready capabilities at scale.

The Principal Technical Project Manager is accountable for the delivery execution of integrated workstreams across data acceleration, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) delivery, international enablement, and advanced analytics and AI for the Disney Experiences International Parks. The role requires strong cross-segment collaboration, strategic mindset, project management competencies and understanding of data and AI.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex transformation workstreams within the DX portfolio, defining structure, sequencing, and governance while partnering with business and corporate PMOs to ensure cross-team coherence.
  • Ensure financial discipline across programs — including CAR management, forecasting, variance tracking, and budget reporting to finance and executive stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver executive-level program communications, including status reports, risk narratives, milestone tracking, and investment updates for Directors, VPs, and SVPs
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels, building consensus, and driving decisions across diverse and often competing priorities as a strategic subject matter expert
  • Represent the DMO in leadership forums, program reviews, and cross-organizational governance bodies as the senior delivery voice
  • Define and champion delivery standards, frameworks, and best practices within the DMO — continuously improving how the team plans, executes, and closes programs with a focus on AI
  • Own end-to-end delivery execution across complex transformation workstreams, partnering with Solution Architecture, Engineering, Product, and business teams to ensure solution design, build, testing, deployment, and adoption activities are sequenced, governed, and delivered effectively
  • Partner with third-party vendors and system integrators to maintain delivery momentum, contractual alignment, and quality outcomes
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 10+ years combined business and technical experience
  • Served as the lead on medium to large technology projects in a matrixed organization, including evaluating and improving estimates, scope, and plans
  • Proficiency in leading complex delivery efforts that span multiple lines of business and technology domains, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with AI tools and ability to apply to working teams to drive productivity and innovation
  • Experience collaborating with and achieve applicable results through others and the capability to interact within all levels
  • Coach/mentoring and conflict management/negotiation
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology
Delivery & Tooling Experience
  • Advanced proficiency with project and delivery tools including Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Tableau, and Excel
  • Deep experience working across Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall delivery models; ability to select and adapt the right approach for context
  • Experience with delivery reporting design — building program dashboards, status artifacts, and portfolio views for executive audiences
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology, science, or a related discipline plus 10 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree (preferred) plus 8 years of relevant experience.

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $163,400 to $219,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

  • A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
