Senior IT Project Manager (Applications & Infrastructure)
We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of medium-to-large scale technical and business initiatives. This role is designed for a strategic leader who excels at managing the critical path, project financials, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions on time and within budget.
The Impact You Will Make
You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and completion of complex IT projects, ensuring they align perfectly with company strategy and commitments. You will manage the full lifecycle-from initial resource assembly and scheduling to final executive review and audit.
Key Responsibilities
• Full-Cycle Project Leadership: Lead multiple concurrent IT projects, encompassing financial forecasting, scope definition, schedule management, and risk mitigation.
• Strategic Communication: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to provide transparency to project teams, customers, and executive sponsors.
• Financial Management (25% Focus): Take full accountability for project expenditures (Capital Budgets). Forecast, manage, and report on actual vs. planned financials, utilizing revenue models and cost-to-completion projections.
• Resource & Risk Management: Identify necessary skills, collaborate with resource managers to assemble teams, and proactively manage issues and critical-path risks.
• Process Enforcement: Apply and enforce project management standards across all phases of the systems assignment.
• Executive Reporting: Facilitate project reviews and provide data-driven insights for audits, status reports, and Executive review meetings.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: * 7+ years in an IT capacity with a broad understanding of applications, databases, networking, and connectivity.
• 5+ years in a dedicated Project Management role with a strong track record in team development.
• Technical Expertise: * Expert-level proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Portfolio/Program Management Software (PPM).
• Proven experience leading both New Application Development and Infrastructure Deployment projects.
• Methodology: Deep knowledge of multiple systems development life cycles, including Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative approaches.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Certification: PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is highly preferred.
