Position Overview

The Plumbing Project Manager / Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating with owners, general contractors, field teams, and internal leadership.

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys managing both technical project execution and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage plumbing/mechanical construction projects from kickoff through completion
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and project execution
  • Coordinate with clients, GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Support estimating and preconstruction activities as needed
  • Attend project meetings and provide field coordination/support
  • Maintain project profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Mentor junior project management staff as needed
  • Help strengthen existing client relationships and identify growth opportunities
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing commercial plumbing or mechanical construction projects
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems and construction processes
  • Experience working directly with GCs, owners, and field operations teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Estimating or preconstruction experience is a plus
  • Existing industry relationships highly valued
Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with regular jobsite visits
  • Hybrid flexibility available (typically 3 days in-office / 2 remote)
  • Minimal overnight travel
