Job description

Job Title: - Hardware Technical Project Manager

Location: Sunnyval, CA/ Redmond, WA

Onsite/ Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer location 

Main Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Program Ownership: Lead cross-functional programs from conception through development, testing, factory deployment, and post-implementation.
  • Software/Hardware Integration: Partner with Hardware and Software engineering teams to define, design, and integrate manufacturing test software, automation, and data systems.
  • Factory Rollout: Manage the deployment of manufacturing software tools to global contract manufacturer sites, ensuring reliability and quality.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical bottlenecks and dependencies, creating mitigation plans to avoid manufacturing delays.
  • Operational Excellence: Improve, scale, and automate factory workflows to increase manufacturing yield and efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders including Hardware Engineering, Product Design, Operations, and Supplier Quality Engineering.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate program status, risks, and technical requirements to executive leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical program management.
  • Technical Background: Experience with manufacturing processes, factory test systems, or hardware software integration.
  • Project Management: Experience managing large-scale, complex programs in a matrix organization.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to influence and align diverse teams, including cross-functional partners across different time zones.
