Job description

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for providing development, evaluation and recommendations on contracted services and materials.
Location: Orrville, Ohio
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule and budget of assigned project(s) in accordance with the Holtec procedures and standard practices.
  • Support project planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and track movement of assigned projects from contract release to completion.
  • Preparation of and distribution of regular project progress reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure stakeholder review and buy-in of intermediate and final project deliverables.
  • Ensure Contract Administration on contract(s) as required, including proper close-out of projects as well as post-project critique and lessons learned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Supervisory and/or project management experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
