The client is looking for a Technical Program Manager to serve as a Product Owner. Our group develops software for the one of their product Network. We build large internal enterprise applications which support client products and more. Our environment is fast paced, Agile, and we use some of the latest tools out there. Come help shape the future of the world's largest gaming, immersive interaction, and entertainment content distribution platform!
 
Job Summary
The Technical Program Manager will focus on responsibilities as a Product Owner and be the key driver in shaping and executing our technical roadmap. This role is responsible for collaborating with engineering teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact technical initiatives. You will ensure that multiple scrum teams are aligned with the business vision, using Agile methodologies to drive timely, quality releases.
 
The ideal candidate is a proactive, go-getter leader with a track record of strong accountability and technical ownership.
 
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Vision
  • Act as the Product Owner for critical technical programs, owning the product vision and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define priorities, and articulate clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain and refine the product backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and strategic decisions.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms to ensure stakeholder alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external partners, driving consensus and collaboration across diverse teams.
Agile Leadership & Collaboration
  • Champion Agile best practices, serving as a key resource for multiple scrum teams in a large corporate environment.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and effective delivery.
  • Foster strong collaboration between technical teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive project success.
Technical Program Management
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring milestones are met and technical debt is managed.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and impediments across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrate strong accountability for technical ownership areas, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
 
Required Qualifications
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management with a focus on Product Owner role within Agile environments.
  • Partnered closely with Engineering team, UX, and Product Management to navigate high-level asks to define clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Worked cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders to groom well-defined technical stories for Engineering team to implement.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple scrum teams in a large corporate setting.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
