Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with 10+ years of experience managing complex technical programs within software development environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams to drive programs from planning through successful delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex technical programs and cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • Define program objectives, scope, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, roadmaps, status reports, and risk registers.
  • Track program progress, identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and drive timely resolution.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure clear communication of program priorities, decisions, and action items.
  • Apply a strong understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC processes to effectively manage technical initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements, system dependencies, implementation challenges, and delivery timelines.
  • Use SQL and basic database/table structures to analyze data, investigate issues, and support data-driven program decisions.
  • Monitor key program metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, requirements, timelines, and workflows using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program execution, delivery processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure programs remain aligned with organizational priorities, technical standards, and business objectives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, preferably within software development or technical program environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs involving engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and basic database/table structures.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project and program management tools.
  • Strong experience managing program schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on frontend or backend software engineering experience.
