Technical Program Manager – Job Description

Role: Technical Program Manager (TPM) – AI & Automation Modernization Program

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program execution for large-scale AI-driven modernization and automation initiatives.
  • Coordinate delivery across AI Engineers, Python Developers, Application Teams, Platform Teams, and Business Stakeholders.
  • Drive repository onboarding, work planning, prioritization, dependency management, and milestone tracking.
  • Establish and manage program governance, status reporting, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, and executive communications.
  • Track progress against KPIs, timelines, quality metrics, and business outcomes.
  • Coordinate playbook creation, validation, and adoption activities in partnership with Devin and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews, escalation management, and decision-making forums.
  • Ensure alignment between technical implementation, operational readiness, compliance, and deployment milestones.
  • Manage cross-functional communication between offshore, onsite, client, and vendor teams.
  • Support release planning, environment readiness, deployment coordination, and post-implementation tracking.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of Program/Project Management experience in enterprise technology programs.
  • Experience managing AI, GenAI, Automation, DevOps, Cloud, or Application Modernization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile delivery, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale repository, application, or platform transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of Python-based automation, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Enterprise, and API-driven solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing distributed onsite/offshore delivery teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Devin, GitHub Copilot, GenAI platforms, or AI-assisted software engineering solutions.
  • Background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes/OpenShift, and enterprise application architecture.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe certifications preferred.
