What You'll Do:

As a Technical Operator, you are essential to keeping Tosca’s supply chain moving. You’ll work on the front line of our service center, ensuring our reusable plastic containers meet the highest standards of quality, food safety, and operational efficiency. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety directly impact our customers and the integrity of our reusable packaging network.

  • Responsible for inspecting Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) for quality and remove any waste material, stickers, tags, damaged RPCs, and non-Tosca RPCs from the production line in accordance with Tosca’s food safety policies 
  • Must be able to load, unload, and stack RPCs from the production line for processing 
  • Must be able to safely operate a forklift 
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment including reporting food or environmental safety concerns 
  • Must be able to understand, operate, and manage automated machinery – touchscreen and switch panels 
  • Can operate multiple service center operational processes including HMI and scanning. 
  • Manage the sanitization of production line and equipment 
  • Must be able to safely operate equipment in alignment with Tosca’s safety protocols including - Lockout/Tag out, Chemical Handling, etc.  
  • Monitor processing of RPC’s through the line and adjust input or output as needed to maximize through put 
  • Monitor supplies or materials used for processing 
  • Complete document prep, filing, training, auditing, data entry, inventory counts, etc. 
  • Must be able to understand written instructions  
  • Will be required to assist the Maintenance Coordinator or Technician on minor machine adjustments or fixes 
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required within the service center 
What We Are Looking For:
  • Minimum 2+ years related experience preferred  
  • Forklift Experience – 2+ years actively operating a forklift where applicable 
  • Operators Experience – 2+ years operating automated equipment 
    • Packaging or Food manufacturing environment is a plus 
  • Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) 
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, customer driven, change focused environment 
  • Good judgment and decision-making ability 
  • Team player who works productively and demonstrates leadership potential 
  • Ability to perform simple business math 
  • Demonstrated high integrity and ethical standards 
  • Manages time effective and adapts quickly to changing priorities 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures 
  • Ability to work occasional flexible hours and over time based on company/volume needs 
Pay, Work Schedule & Benefits
  • 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm 
  • Pay Rate of $18.00/hour + Shift Diff
