Job description

Overview Program Manager (CPE IEWS): Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to join our team in supporting an upcoming effort supporting CPE IEWS at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) in Aberdeen, MD. The Program Manager (PM) shall provide comprehensive program management support, ensuring the successful fulfillment of all requirements, including management and oversight of all activities performed by personnel. The PM will provide leadership, direction, administration, quality assurance, and overall management. Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate staffing efforts, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and maintain accountability for performance outcomes. Provide comprehensive program management support, ensuring the successful fulfillment of all requirements identified, including management and oversight of all activities performed by Contractor personnel, including subcontractors and teaming partners. Provide all administrative correspondence relating to this Task Order shall be directed to the COR. Maintain a robust communication plan to ensure timely and effective information exchange with the Government, including regular status updates, proactive identification of potential issues, and prompt responses to Government inquiries. Ensure all personnel performing under this task order receive appropriate security briefings and comply with all applicable security requirements. Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities. Interface with government personnel. Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensure conformance to work standards. Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations for subordinates. Bowhead seeks to network with qualified individuals relative to a potential opportunity, which is contingent upon award and not currently funded. Incumbent employees are encouraged to respond. Qualifications Bachelor Degree and a minimum 14 years experience managing government programs is required of which one (1) year must be supervisory. A minimum of 10 years experience managing government programs, of which one (1) year must be supervisory, is acceptable for candidates possessing a PMP certification. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically Anticipated salary range is $125,000 to $165,000; depending on role and commensurate with experience. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Bowhead considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
