Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master

Our client is undertaking a bold digital transformation. The Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master is responsible for collaborating with their respective Product Manager and Technical Lead to design and deliver the vision and customer experience for the Bank's Digital customers.

This particular role will be responsible for the delivery of Security related features and capabilities for the Online and Mobile channels. This technical Project Manager/Scrum Master role is responsible for understanding, influencing and enabling the business strategy by deploying the relevant digital technologies. The role is accountable as the single point of contact for their Digital workstream, with specific focus on Mobile and Online capabilities across Sales and Service. Delivering and maintaining capabilities to enhance customer experience and satisfaction is key.

• Prepares and implements project plans to manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects (i.e., resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions and dependencies).

• Manages work streams, prepares status reports and interfaces with stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution are aligned with defined objectives.

• Coordinates and communicates the activities of project personnel with relevant stakeholders to ensure progress within time and budget constraints.

• Considered a subject matter expert providing guidance to the most complex issues on their project.

• The incumbent secures, leads, motivates and inspires the internal & external resources required to deliver the program, and is responsible for adhering to the program governance (e.g. sponsors, approvers, stakeholders).

• Leads status meetings/daily stand ups/working sessions related to the Project, tracks actions and follow up items.

• Leverages project management tools such as MS Project and Jira.

• Leads and contributes to the development of project definition and scope with applicable stakeholders.

• Proficient with project and portfolio management tools (i.e. Jira, Figma, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Acts as key escalation point for risks and issues.

• Motivates functional process team working on projects within a matrix reporting structure.

• Manages process and project management deliverables for all assigned projects from initiation through closure, including intake activities.

• Develops, analyzes and oversees project quality assurance and resource allocation.

• Enhances program and project management capabilities and operational oversight. Develops, edits and executes project plans to manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects.

• Ability to influence others at an operational level regarding new concepts, practices and approaches.

• Recognized as a subject matter expert in the area of project management.

• Managing multi-year projects with cross-enterprise interdependencies.

• Ability to engage the support and resources of others to achieve project goals and objectives; influencing without authority.

• Ability to enable individuals to work effectively as they plan, implement, and experience change.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision making skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization.

• Ability to research, interpret, and incorporate industry and other best practices into project management processes.

• Demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative business and technology relationships; recognizes organizational limitations and uses corporate culture and resources to eliminate barriers when possible.
