Job description

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people's lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Docusign's P&T Program Management organization, you will operationalize and standardize the processes that drive Engineering and Product execution. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Finance, and TPgM peers to improve governance, streamline workflows, and integrate tooling and reporting frameworks. A key part of this role is enabling consistent adoption of standardized processes across teams and reducing the fire drills that slow delivery. In addition, you will partner with Product and Engineering to execute roadmap priorities and feature launches, ensuring teams are aligned on goals, timelines, and dependencies. This is an execution-focused role that provides critical leverage to scale the impact of central operations and support organizational transformation.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Technical Program Management.

Responsibility

  • Lead complex cross-functional programs from concept through delivery, driving alignment from Product, Engineering, and TPgM organizations

  • Drive product and feature launches in partnership with Product and Engineering, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes

  • Establish and drive adoption of standardized governance processes and rhythms of business, including quarterly planning, portfolio intake, resource allocation, and leadership cadences

  • Integrate tooling and reporting into a single source of truth, delivering unified dashboards and reliable visibility into program and operational health

  • Identify and implement operational improvements that scale across teams and drive consistency in how programs are planned and executed

  • Track and surface risks, dependencies, and blockers across initiatives by way of deeply understanding the software development lifecycle and technical sequencing of events on the critical path, ensuring visibility and timely escalation to leadership

  • Contribute to TPgM playbooks and toolkits, helping to standardize processes and improve adoption across the organization

  • Provide TPgM support for high-priority initiatives, ensuring structure and execution rigor under tight timelines

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.

What you bring

Basic

  • 12+ years of program management experience within technology organizations

  • Experience operationalizing and standardizing governance processes across engineering teams, including planning cycles, portfolio intake, and OKRs

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional, highly technical teams and interconnected workstreams to achieve top company priorities

  • Experience with program management tools (Jira, Confluence, Clarity, Smartsheet) and reporting platforms (Tableau, SQL, or equivalent), with experience building automations across tools and systems

  • Experience with program and delivery lifecycles, and integrating technical and business perspectives into decision-making

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred

  • Experience supporting CTO- or VP-level operations within a TPgM organization

  • Demonstrated success in scaling standardized processes and improving efficiency across large technical teams

  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to partner across Engineering, Product, and TPgM peers

  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or scaled delivery methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum@Scale)

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with a proactive bias for action and dedication to continuous improvement
