About the Roleย
Theย Leadย Technical Program Managerย (TPM), Engineeringย is responsible forย theย management of theย programย informationย on behalf ofย theย Air Vehicle Engineeringย Definition. This roleย willย lead a team ofย TPMs to coordinateย andย deliver products on schedule and within budget. Theย roleย will work within the Program Management Office (PMO) toย enableย the integration and development ofย theย Air Vehicle andย monitorย overall program progress.ย
What You'll Doย
- Serve as an execution leaderย on behalf of the Engineering organization,ย establishingย clarity, stability, and accountability acrossย product developmentย plansย
- Own the orchestration of engineering execution across the full program lifecycle, partnering with TPMsย and Engineering work package owners to define, align, and sequenceย activitiesย fromย requirements & concept developmentย throughย design, manufacturing, testing, qualification, certification, andย transition to productionย
- Support supplier strategy and executionย
- Partnerย closelyย with the Chief Engineerย as a thought partner and execution counterpart, jointly managing risks, issues, and opportunities withย program metrics and decision-ready visibilityย
- Define and enforce theย PMOย execution operating model - goals, deliverables, cadence, tools, and behaviors - ensuring consistency, discipline, and accountability across teams.ย
- Anticipate resource and execution stress points, proactivelyย identifyingย gaps across work packages and guiding leadership discussions to resolve themย before they impactย delivery.ย
- Lead alignment across a team ofย Engineeringย TPMs to synthesize project status, risks, and opportunities into clearย narratives that enable decisive action at all levels of managementย
- Steward the program roadmap, ensuring near-term executionย remainsย aligned with long-term program strategy for Engineeringย and the businessย

Who You Areย
Educationย
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical,ย orย Systemsย Engineering orย otherย related fieldย
ย Experienceย
- Aย minimum ofย eightย (8) yearsย in technical program/project management role, preferably in the aviation industryย
- Aย minimum of ten (10) years of total experience (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)ย
- A minimum ofย two (2) years of experience in a formal or informal leadership positionย
- Engineering experienceย throughout the product lifecycle,ย including composite materials and systemsย developmentย and certificationย
- Project management experience in complexย aircraftย structuresย developmentย through design, testing,ย build,ย and qualification phasesย ย
- Experience with MS Project,ย Primavera/P6, Jama,ย Jiraย and/or other project management toolsย
ย Required Skillsย
- Demonstratedย experience developing and implementing standard processesย
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsย
- Ability to work crossfunctionally, build relationships, and manage conflictย
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsย
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow upย
- Ability to independently prioritize andย accomplishย work within time constraintsย
- Demonstrated agility and autonomous decision-making within ambiguous situationsย
- Experience with Dassault 3DX is preferredย
ย Where You'll Beย
Otto Aerospaceย is currently a remote workplace.ย Weย willย relocateย toย our permanent headquarters in Jacksonville, FLย beginning inย 2026.ย This role is expected toย relocateย at that time.ย This role will beย requiredย to travel 25% toย meet at ourย temporary facility in Fort Worth, TXย (prior to relocation)ย orย other locations in support of program activities.ย
