Job Title:  Technical Program Manager (Media & Entertainment)
Job Location: Los Angeles, CA

Job Description:

  1. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (Scrum Master) who is passionate about large scale video ecosystems and cares about quality alignment and the overall seamless delivery of best-in-class consumer applications
    As a TPM SM within VTG you'll be responsible for evangelizing PMO best practices across the organization and will be partnering with Product Engineering Managers who are building the video processing pipelines for the  streaming platforms and will assist them navigate the backlog identifying and removing impediments You will assist scrum teams to reach high productivity and velocity by coaching and facilitating all scrum agile practices
  2. Your Day-to-day
    Leading day-to-day ceremonies tracking team health with metrics
    Drive cross team communication and transparency by providing accurate and proactive project tracking to the larger organization.
    Participate in quarterly bigroom planning coordinate with the rest of the PMO to account for cross team dependencies and coach teams towards responsible quarterly commitments
    Identify track and remove impediments that may impact team velocity and deliverables
    As needed manage the execution of deliverables track milestones manage risk and provide program reports to stakeholders
  3. Required Qualifications
    5 years of experience as a technical program manager scrum master
    Experience with Agile software development methodologies in a large enterprise environment where Agile practices are scale as well as with traditional project management
    Experience using Jira GitHub integrations and Confluence Google Workspace
  4. Desired Qualifications or You might also have
    Experience working with video engineering teams and ideally streaming video
    Technical knowledge of video engineering video compression AAC video and audio codec standards LIVE and VOD content delivery as well as Adtech integration CSAI SSAI
    Technical understanding of iOS Android and Roku platforms
    Experience managing and mitigating device fragmentation challenges across diverse hardware profiles
    Ability to drive project velocity and documentation as well as Release Management Stakeholder Management working across multiple teams and the ability to adapt quickly to business requirements
    Experience working in the Media Entertainment industry
    Bachelors degree ideally in a technical or product development related field
