Job description

Join our fast-paced and passionate team as a Technical Program Manager 4. As we scale, you will be instrumental in building our foundation from the ground up. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for a self-starter who thrives in a fluid startup environment. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies, work closely with leadership, and develop and implement best practices that support our mission and growth. Your key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Guide the execution of assigned program from initiation through delivery, with responsibility for tracking scope, schedule, and financial margins.
  • Prepare program status updates, dashboards, and briefings for stakeholders.
  • Manage predictable execution by acting as a link between cross-functional engineering teams, customers, finance, supply chain, and leadership.
  • Help identify program risks and issues and monitor mitigation efforts with support and guidance from the leadership team.
  • Track labor and material costs incurred to date and assist in maintaining a predictable integrated master schedule.
  • Support contract negotiations and customer communications by coordinating meetings, documenting requirements, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
  • Responsible for tracking all customer, internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate successfully with team members across the organization in a way that fosters trust, recognizes and celebrates others, and reinforces the company values.

Requirements

  • This position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 15+ years or more of relevant experience (including pursuit of relevant higher education); ideally within a startup or technology company.

Skills:

  • Proven record of successfully leading the execution of a development program.
  • Working knowledge in the following technical areas outside of program management: systems engineering, test engineering, optics, quality engineering, system integration and product development lifecycle.

Benefits

The expected annual salary range for this position is $145,000-$195,000.

As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for Monarch’s comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
