Description

Job Title: Production Manager 


Job Summary:

Responsible for production-related communication flow and coordination between all company resources committed to each company product.

Essential Job Functions:

Understanding of all harness manufacturing aspects, understanding of Material/Manufacturing

Resource Planning (MRP) Systems. Co-ordinate with all departments within the organization

to meet/exceed the customer requirements.

Provide production status and advice on any issues affecting on-time deliveries.

Manage manufacturing resources to optimize efficiency and continuously improve performance.

Provide input and feedback across all organizations for continuous improvement. Maintain 

manufacturing tooling and equipment required to support production, establish and maintain process for production floor stock inventory. Establish and maintain processes related to production. Familiarization of Aerospace Standard (AS 9100). Co-ordinate PDRs and CDRs for new builds. Must manage staff responsible for manufacturing LM, Raytheon and Development products. Participate in the RFQ process as required, review and help write Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) for areas of responsibilities. Familiarization of International Organization of Standards (ISO) requirements.


Education and Certifications:

Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience to understand new design opportunities
