Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical component of product launches, ensuring the successful delivery of architecture briefs, demo environments, technical enablement materials, hands-on labs, and adoption-focused launch assets.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales Engineering, and Alliances teams to translate product innovation into field-ready technical assets and customer-facing proof points.
  • Support Striim's technical competitive intelligence program, delivering architecture comparisons, migration strategies, benchmarking analysis, and competitive win/loss insights.
  • Enable Sales Engineering teams through technical training, demo development, proof-of-concept frameworks, evaluation methodologies, and architecture review support for strategic enterprise opportunities.
  • Support high-value enterprise pursuits by engaging directly with customers, prospects, partners, and technical decision-makers throughout evaluation, architecture review, and proof-of-concept phases.
  • Represent Striim within analyst briefings, industry conferences, technical communities, customer advisory boards, webinars, and developer-focused events.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Product and Engineering leadership by bringing field insights, customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and practitioner perspectives into roadmap planning.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate technical content creation, research, enablement, and market engagement while maintaining exceptional technical accuracy and credibility.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, with significant experience in Technical Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Solutions Engineering, Product Management, or a related technical go-to-market function.
  • Strong technical expertise in modern data architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, streaming technologies, data integration, analytics, or AI infrastructure.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts-including change data capture (CDC), event streaming, distributed processing, data pipelines, and AI architectures-to highly technical audiences.
  • Hands-on familiarity with modern data and AI ecosystems, including technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spanner, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Iceberg, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated success creating technical content that drives practitioner engagement, including architecture guides, benchmarks, tutorials, demos, technical blogs, conference presentations, or open-source contributions.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software sales cycles through technical positioning, proof-of-concept guidance, competitive differentiation, and customer-facing engagements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical stakeholders ranging from Data Engineers and Architects to CTOs and executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, or similar consultative sales frameworks.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gong AI, or similar technologies to improve productivity and content development.
