Location: Chicago, IL / New York, NY / New Jersey (Travel Required)
Pay Range: $85 - $90 on W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support the Prisma Access Go-to-Market (GTM) team by driving technical pre-sales engagements, customer success, and cybersecurity solution adoption. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise cybersecurity, technical consulting, and customer-facing sales engineering, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with sales teams to drive technical pre-sales activities and customer engagements.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions and recommend cybersecurity solutions.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and customer workshops.
  • Build customer success stories, case studies, and technical solution proposals.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to represent customer requirements.
  • Provide first-level technical support, issue triage, and customer escalations.
  • Maintain customer relationships, Salesforce updates, and technical documentation.
Must-have Skills:
  • 6+ years of Sales Engineering or Technical Pre-Sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following:
    • Network Security (Firewalls, Proxies)
    • Prisma Access / SASE / Secure Access
    • Endpoint Security (EDR/EPP)
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and web technologies.
  • Experience conducting technical discovery, solution demonstrations, and customer presentations.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and data-driven sales reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Experience working with enterprise networking or cloud security platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of software development concepts and web technologies.
  • Strong customer success and account management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
