As a Technician III, Production Technical Operations, you will be trusted to support our manufacturing production team by driving efficient, high-quality production operations at our Johns Creek, Georgia facility.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.

  • Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting complex production equipment to maintain output and quality targets.

  • Monitoring production quality, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions

  • Managing resources, reviewing work orders, and maintaining accurate production records to support performance tracking.

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with GxP standards and SOPs.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • Work Schedule: J shift | 36-48 hours per week | 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST | 12-hour rotating shift (2 days on, 2 days off, including every other weekend)

  • Relocation/Sponsorship: No

Preferred

  • Strong technical depth in production equipment, operating at a high level in a regulated environment.

  • Experience working in a regulated (FDA, ISO) manufacturing or technical production environment, with adherence to GxP standards, SOPs, and quality requirements.

  • Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills supporting automated production equipment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel for tracking and reporting production metrics, including line downtime.

  • Experience using Maximo (or similar systems) for ordering, tracking, and managing spare parts inventory.
