Job description

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of our nation in defending the United States and its interests.

This overseas position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist the Deputy Program/Range Manager in daily oversite of 250+ engineers, technicians, and contract support staff on the Kwajalein Atoll.
  • Provide direction and oversight for the Deputy Program/ Range Manager regarding the management of Reagan Test Range (RTR) Facilities.
  • Serve as the primary facilities manager, overseeing all facility managers within the company and coordinating actions with RTR and US Army Garrison – Kwajalein Atoll (USAG-KA).
  • Provide input to the Annual Work Plan and support the prioritization of work in this plan with RTR and USAG-KA.
  • Supervise MAXIMO specialists, setting goals, managing budgets, and ensuring the MAXIMO team provides the necessary support across the organization.
  • Provide oversight and leadership direction for the RTR Calibration Laboratory supervisor and team, ensuring all operations meet or exceed the Army’s USATA TMDE standards and requirements.
  • Participate in the planning, scheduling and monitoring of all system maintenance (preventive and corrective), system upgrades, and new systems installation to avoid conflicts with mission requirements.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of long-range operational projects to assure ability to meet mission requirements; availability of personnel and compatibility with other planned projects.
  • Support the Range with input and management of RTS vehicle requirements and status with a special emphasis on Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs)
  • As required, provide operation and maintenance (O&M) technical support for engineering project development, design and integration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, or construction management or project management, or related field, or experience in lieu of education.
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience working in an operational or engineering or project management environment.
    • Two (2) or more of the eight years require experience working in a project management capacity.
  • Possess leadership and supervisory skills that demonstrate or indicate a high potential for successful direction of an organization comprised of both US employees and local nationals.
  • Demonstrated broad-based technical competency.
  • Proficiency in working across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to leverage advanced principles, theories, and concepts of complex technical subjects to provide direction for employees.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in required tooling and its application.
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills to balance, plan, prioritize and execute assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook).
  • Ability to work with Maximo.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to adapt to changing deadlines and work environments.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and solve problems in a teaming environment.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support projects or mission requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Four (4) or more years’ project management experience.
  • Experience with Maximo.
