Duties:
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of early-stage R&D projects involving software, AI/ML, and hardware components within the Emerging Business and Innovation Group.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with technical leads, business partners, and external collaborators to ensure cross-functional alignment and resolve execution challenges.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes clearly and confidently to ADI leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement of program management processes tailored to the needs of Emerging Business Unit initiatives.
  • Translate technical and operational inputs into actionable plans that support strategic innovation efforts.
  • Support operational tasks including contract facilitation, vendor onboarding, and IT security assessments.
  • Manage risk, quality, and cross-team dependencies across complex, multidisciplinary technology projects.
  • Lead through influence, building consensus and inspiring teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Partial telecommute benefit (2 days per week work from home permitted)
Requirements: Must have a Master's degree in Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or closely related technical discipline (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a project manager or related occupation overseeing technology projects.
Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):
  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") managing full product development lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through design, verification, and launch using structured processes aligned with industry standards such as a Stage-Gate or APQP.
  • DE planning and coordinating early-stage product development activities including concept initiation, hypothesis validation, proof-of-concept builds, and prototype iterations to support feasibility assessment and inform downstream development phases.
  • DE applying advanced project management methodologies (waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid), and proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, confluence, and OneNote for planning, documenting, progress tracking, and dependency management across complex product development initiatives.
  • DE coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple engineering and business domains to deliver integrated product solutions and meet performance, cost, timing, and targets.
  • DE navigating organizational complexity and influencing functional silos to align priorities, foster collaboration, and drive clarity in high-ambiguity environments for diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and senior leadership.
