Job Summary and Purpose:
Ceva Animal Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Marketing Manager to join the Companion Animal Veterinary Services team, reporting to the head of US Companion Animal Veterinary Services.
The Technical Marketing Manager serves as the scientific and technical leader for assigned companion animal brands, partnering with Veterinary Services, Marketing, Sales, Strategic Accounts, and Global stakeholders to develop and execute scientifically sound, clinically relevant, and commercially impactful strategies. This role bridges veterinary medicine and marketing by translating complex scientific concepts into compelling educational programs, technical communications, and customer-focused value propositions.
The Technical Marketing Manager provides technical leadership for product strategy, medical education, publication initiatives, key opinion leader engagement, business intelligence, and innovation planning. The successful candidate will leverage deep veterinary expertise and strong communication skills to support internal and external customers while ensuring alignment with global brand strategy and business objectives.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
Technical Leadership and Product Strategy
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Collaborate with Veterinary Services, Sales and Marketing teams to establish and communicate key scientific and technical messages.
  • Develop and maintain evidence-based product positioning aligned with clinical practice needs and commercial objectives.
  • Ensure all scientific and promotional communications are accurate, ethical, compliant, and consistent with Ceva strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to commercial and cross-functional teams.
  • Support product launches, lifecycle management initiatives, and portfolio optimization activities.
  • Stay current on industry regulations, veterinary practice trends, and emerging scientific developments.

Medical Education and Technical Communications
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs and educational materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Create scientific presentations, technical guides, educational content, sales tools, and customer resources.
  • Support continuing education initiatives and speaker development programs.
  • Present scientific data and technical content at conferences, customer meetings, advisory boards, and industry events.
  • Translate complex scientific information into impactful and actionable messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Ensure consistent knowledge management and dissemination of technical expertise across the organization.

Strategic Account Support
  • Provide technical and scientific expertise in support of corporate and strategic accounts.

  • Partner with the Director of Veterinary Services to develop and execute publication strategies supporting strategic brands and therapeutic areas.
  • Identify opportunities for scientific publications, abstracts, peer-reviewed manuscripts, and conference presentations.
  • Collaborate with investigators, authors, and external experts to develop scientific communications.
  • Conduct technical reviews and evaluations of scientific literature to support business objectives and educational initiatives.

Business Intelligence
  • Conduct scientific and technical surveillance across relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Monitor competitor activities, industry developments, veterinary innovation trends, and emerging diseases.
  • Evaluate scientific publications and provide accurate technical analyses.
  • Gather and communicate market insights to support strategic decision-making and future portfolio development.
  • Identify unmet clinical needs and emerging opportunities within the veterinary marketplace.

Innovation and Portfolio Development
  • Contribute veterinary expertise to pipeline planning and innovation strategy.
