The Technical Lead is responsible for providing hands-on technical leadership in the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems. This role combines advanced software engineering expertise with team leadership, architectural decision-making, and the ability to guide development efforts in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The Technical Lead ensures high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions across multiple platforms and operating systems.

TS/SCI with Polygraph Required Day 1

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, implementation, testing, analysis, and debugging of software systems.

  • Provide architectural guidance and technical direction to development teams throughout the software lifecycle.

  • Review and mentor team members' code to ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance requirements.

  • Drive the use of software configuration management and version control tools (e.g., Git).

  • Oversee integration of continuous integration (CI) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

  • Support development and testing across multiple platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile, and embedded environments.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while independently resolving complex technical challenges.

  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving technical requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional software development experience, including design, implementation, testing, analysis, and debugging.

  • TS/SCI with Poly Clearance

  • Demonstrated experience using software configuration management tools (e.g., Git).

  • Experience developing software systems with a solid understanding of operating system internals in at least one of the following environments:

  • BSD/Linux/Unix

  • Windows

  • macOS

  • Android

  • RISC assembly

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and testing applications on one or more of the following platforms: Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile, or embedded systems.

  • Ability to reverse engineer (RE) code.

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree, or relevant certifications, in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing a diverse set of development languages.

  • In-depth understanding and/or hands-on implementation of Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) techniques and methodologies, including application and mitigation techniques for one or more supported operating systems.

  • Experience applying continuous integration and automated testing tools to modern software development practices.

  • Demonstrated experience working with firewalls, standard operating system security features, and platform security protections (PSPs).
