Job description

Job Summary:
Piermont Bank is a boutique specialty commercial bank focused on serving modern businesses with a digital first approach. The Embedded Banking Integration Manager is responsible for scaling the Bank’s embedded banking platform, ensuring fintech partners can launch efficiently while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end onboarding and integration of fintech partners, from contract execution through production launch.
• Serve as the primary integration point of contact for fintech technical, product, and operations teams.
• Coordinate API integration, testing, certification, and production readiness (ACH, wires, card networks, RTP, FedNow), and core banking system interactions.
• Manage integration timelines, milestones, dependencies, and launch readiness criteria.
• Work with engineering teams to troubleshoot integration issues and resolve technical blockers.
• Ensure operational workflows are clearly defined and scalable.
• Partner closely with internal Technology, Compliance, BSA/AML, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Payments teams to ensure all onboarding requirements are met.
• Facilitate internal approvals and readiness across all control functions.
• Work closely with Risk and Compliance to ensure alignment with third-party risk management and onboarding requirements.
• Ensure partner integrations adhere to Bank policies, regulatory expectations, and risk management standards.
• Oversee go-live readiness and production deployment.
• Support transition from implementation to ongoing relationship and program management teams.
• Monitor early-stage program performance and address initial operational or technical issues.
• Implement new products for fintech partners as programs expand and scale.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience in embedded banking, payments, fintech, or financial services integration, implementation, or technical program management.
• Experience working with APIs, payment systems, or banking infrastructure.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working at a bank, fintech, BaaS provider, or payments company.
• Familiarity with embedded banking architecture, including: Core banking systems, ACH, wires, card processing, RTP, or FedNow, Ledgering systems and settlement flows.
• Understanding of bank regulatory expectations, including third-party risk management and BSA/AML.
