Director - PMO, Change & Delivery

Position Overview

Bullish is looking for a pragmatic and curious junior Project Manager to join our Change & Delivery team, supporting cross-functional delivery across various teams. In this role, you will coordinate project execution, navigate complex requirements, bridge gaps between business stakeholders and technology teams, and ensure initiatives move forward with clarity and discipline. This is an opportunity to build your career at a regulated digital assets exchange where your contributions directly impact how we scale our infrastructure, improve processes, and meet regulatory obligations. You will work closely with senior leaders, giving you exceptional visibility and accelerated development in a fast-moving fintech environment.

This position is based in NYC and will be required to work 4 days per week onsite at our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and drive project delivery across various workstreams, ensuring milestones are met and risks are escalated early.

  • Understand and refine business requirements by engaging directly with stakeholders / product managers; proactively identify gaps and propose pragmatic solutions.

  • Prepare and maintain project artefacts including status reports, RAID logs, decision registers, and stakeholder communications for senior leadership.

  • Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, and steering committees with cross-functional teams to maintain momentum and alignment.

  • Support business analysis activities: map current-state processes, define to-be workflows, and translate business needs into clear specifications for technology teams.

  • Track dependencies, resource constraints, and competing priorities across concurrent initiatives within the COO Office.

  • Contribute to the development of scalable project management frameworks, templates, and governance practices as the team matures.

  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, building a strong understanding of platform systems and operational tooling.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or a COO office / business management function within financial services, fintech, or a similarly regulated industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, fill gaps in requirements, and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.

  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail with a solid understanding of finance, operations, or trading workflows.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and present to senior stakeholders confidently.

  • Pragmatic problem-solver who is hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).

  • Intellectual curiosity and ambition โ€” a genuine desire to learn how systems, platforms, and technology work under the hood.

Preferred:

  • Project management certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation, or Agile/Scrum certifications) are a plus but not required.

  • Familiarity with ITIL or COBIT frameworks and experience operating within a regulated or compliance-driven environment.

  • Prior exposure to digital assets, blockchain, or exchange operations.

  • Experience working directly with technology teams on system implementations, integrations, or platform enhancements.

Bullish US LLC & CoinDesk Inc. are committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $140,000 โ€“ $200,000 + discretionary annual target bonus + performance incentives/benefits. Offered salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills, and commensurate experience.
