Job description

Description:

GXM Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Integration Lead to drive the design, integration, and operational delivery, systems integration and technical execution of a new  advanced Operations Center (Ops Center) supporting multi-domain missions. This role will lead the implementation, integration, deployment and operational readiness of commercial, government, and allied capabilities into a unified operational environment that delivers an enhanced Common Operating Picture (COP), advanced data fusion, and mission decision support.


The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in space and mission systems integration, operational environment deployment, modern cloud-native architecture, operational data environments, interface-driven engineering, and operational C2 systems delivery. This individual will play a critical role in defining and integrating operational data streams, architecting scalable operational systems, and developing robust Interface Control Documents (ICDs) that enable interoperability across mission partners, sensors, analytics platforms, and visualization systems. This role supports the capability releases, ensuring operational mission readiness across integrated systems. 


This role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Hybrid flexibility may be available over time based on mission requirements, program execution needs, and achievement of objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day systems integration and operational delivery activities supporting multi-domain Ops Center operations. 
  • Lead selection, integration, testing, implementation and sustainment of multi-domain Common Operating Picture (COP) capabilities, operational visualization tools, space domain awareness (SDA) data services, AI/ML-enabled data fusion, analytics, and modern cloud-based C2 architectures.
  • Integrate heterogeneous operational data streams, including SDA, telemetry, sensor, and mission system feeds. 
  • Develop and maintain ICDs, APIs, message schemas, and interface requirements across integrated systems. 
  • Design scalable cloud-based, hybrid, and service-oriented system architectures supporting operational mission needs. 
  • Support AI/ML-enabled analytics, data fusion, and real-time operational decision-support capabilities. 
  • Collaborate with vendors, mission partners, and engineering teams to ensure interoperability, cybersecurity compliance, and rapid capability delivery. 
  • Support system testing, integration validation, and continuous platform modernization efforts. 
  • Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentorship to engineering and integration teams. 
  • Works closely with the Enterprise Architect to ensure integrated capabilities align with approved architecture standards, interoperability requirements, and long-term scalability objectives.
Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI Clearance. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field. 
  • 8+ years of hands-on systems integration, operation deployment, or mission systems delivery experience supporting defense, space, or mission-critical systems. 
  • Experience with Common Operating Picture (COP) integration and operational visualization platforms. 
  • Experience integrating operational data streams, data fusion environments, and distributed systems. 
  • Experience with system architecture/design, cloud computing, and hybrid environments. 
  • Experience developing ICDs, managing interfaces, APIs, and integration frameworks. 
  • Familiarity with C2 systems, mission systems, or SDA environments. 
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, containerized architectures, and enterprise data platforms. 
  • Understanding of systems engineering, interoperability, scalability, and cybersecurity principles. 
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and execute complex integration efforts. 


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi-domain operations, Joint Force mission environments, and coalition/allied operational integration activities.
  • Experience supporting USNORTHCOM or other Combatant Command operational environments.
  • Experience with enterprise cloud platforms, hybrid cloud architectures, and distributed mission systems.
  • Experience standing up, modernizing, or operating classified operations centers, mission operations facilities, or secure multi-classification environments.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containerized platforms, DevSecOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), event-driven architectures, and CI/CD integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled operational analytics, data fusion platforms, and real-time mission decision-support systems.
  • Experience integrating non-traditional defense technologies and commercial capabilities into operational military or intelligence community environments.
  • Familiarity with operational mission systems supporting Homeland Defense, Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) or Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2).
  • Experience supporting continuous technology insertion, operational modernization initiatives, capability transition activities, or iterative MVP release delivery models.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, National Security, or related technical discipline preferred.


 $150,000–$225,000 salary + annual bonus eligibility + medical/dental/vision/STD/LTD/Life + 401(k) + PTO
