Job description

Interlake Mecalux designs, develops, and implements its own Warehouse Management System (WMS): EasyWMS. We are seeking a Jr. WMS Implementation Project Manager to join our WMS Operations team in Atlanta, GA. The WMS Operations team is responsible for implementing EasyWMS for all Interlake Mecalux clients purchasing this product.
The Jr. WMS Implementation Project Manager, critical to project success, manages an average of 5 simultaneous projects in the US, Canada, and occasionally Mexico.
Responsibilities
  • Project Success: Ensure the project meets its goals, timeline, and budget.
  • Scope Management: Review and understand project scope, deadlines, and goals.
  • Scheduling and Resource Management:
    • Organize project information in SAP.
    • Create project schedules and budgets.
    • Communicate resource needs to team leaders.
    • Coordinate internal and client kick-off meetings and manage on-site travel logistics.
    • Lead the on-site team during the go-live phase
  • Design Review & Change Management:
    • Understand and oversee the design solution.
    • Ensure necessary warehouse KPIs and data are collected for future comparison and project success measurement.
    • Manage any scope changes, coordinating with Sales Reps. and clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain trust with clients.
    • Establish direct communication to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Project Monitoring:
    • Monitor the project status and ensure deadlines are met.
    • Weekly reporting of project status to clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Monitor warehouse performance post-go-live to evaluate if the goals are being met.
    • Ensure all deliverables are met during Go-Live through to project closure.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or relevant field as it relates to Logistics.
  • An understanding of warehouse, logistics, and supply chain processes. Previous experience working with an WMS in a warehouse is preferred.
  • Knowledge related to Agile Methodologies. PMP Certification is preferred.
  • Availability to Travel: Approximately 20% of the time
  • Professional Personal Presentation
  • English language fluency is absolutely required. Proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is highly preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams. Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a desire to learn.
