Key responsibilities

  • Turn every AE/SE handoff into a scoped, confirmed launch plan within 48 hours of signature

  • Configure each account and run the kickoff and hands-on training to ensure real users adopt the platform

  • Drive customers to complete their first workflow and achieve adoption milestones within 45 days

Job description

About Bobyard
Bobyard uses AI to take contractors from a set of plans to a bid in minutes instead of weeks. We're Series A backed by 8VC, Primary, and Pear ($35M - 2x the median raise), and our customers are running real construction jobs on Bobyard right now, not sitting through a demo.
About the Role
Implementation Manager owns the first 45 days of every new Bobyard customer's life - from signed contract to a live, trained, adopting account. We're building this role because launch quality can't keep depending on whichever CSM happens to pick it up; it needs one owner running a repeatable process. You'll win when a customer is fully launched fast, and when the CSM who inherits the account never has to ask what happened before they showed up.
What You'll Do
  • Turn every AE/SE handoff into a scoped, confirmed launch plan within 48 hours of signature
  • Configure each account and run the kickoff and hands-on training that gets real crews using Bobyard, not just clicking through a demo
  • Drive customers to their first completed workflow and their first real adoption milestone inside 45 days
  • Run reinforcement sessions and office hours that catch stragglers before they quietly churn
  • Chase blockers down with Customer Success and Product until they're actually resolved, not just logged
  • Document goals, stakeholders, risks, and product feedback well enough that a CSM can pick up an account cold
  • Deliver a formal handoff to the CSM that closes every exit-criteria box before you move on

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years owning SaaS customer onboarding or implementation for a real portfolio of accounts, not one enterprise deal at a time
  • Hands-on comfort configuring a software product yourself - you don't wait on someone else to click the buttons
  • You've personally run live training sessions for non-technical or field-based users
  • A track record of hitting a defined launch/time-to-value SLA, and you know your actual numbers
  • Sharp, structured written communication - your handoff docs are why a CSM never has to re-ask a question
  • Comfortable owning 10+ concurrent launches without dropping details
  • Genuinely energized by construction, trades, or other real-world industries

Nice to Have
  • Experience in vertical SaaS or construction tech
  • Familiarity with CRM or onboarding tooling (Salesforce, Asana, Notion)
  • Experience building an onboarding playbook from scratch at an early-stage company
  • Bilingual (Spanish or otherwise) - useful with field crews

What We Offer
$100,000-$125,000 base salary, $140,000+ OTE, plus equity. Based in San Francisco, on-site with the team at 101 2nd Street.
Comp Philosophy
We are proud to offer competitive, top-of-market compensation because we want to celebrate the dedicated people who ship amazing work and drive our success. Our individual compensation is thoughtfully tailored based on your role, experience, and contributions, alongside performance-based rewards.
