Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patient needs and devise tailored treatment plans that foster individual growth.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups aimed at common mental health issues, facilitating a supportive community for patients.
• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support strategies during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and proper care.
• Educate patients on mental health issues, treatment alternatives, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their healing process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and contribute to team objectives.
• Stay informed about developments in mental health research and best practices to improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses individuals experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. This includes children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, and substance use issues. This role allows you to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans best suited to their unique circumstances, promoting a holistic approach to mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A solid foundation in mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and craft effective treatment strategies.
• Competence in delivering therapy to individuals and groups, catering to diverse populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and effective engagement.
• Sound judgment with a strong commitment to maintaining professional ethical standards and boundaries.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with EHR systems such as Cerner or Epic.
• Background working in outpatient settings and providing therapy services to various demographics.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and management.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
