This role is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and repeatable implementations for customers operating critical infrastructure.The Technical Implementation Consultant serves as the technical owner of implementation workstreams, partnering closely with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to deliver high-quality customer deployments. This role focuses on configuration and technical enablement required to bring customers live, including integrations, SSO, data migration, environment configuration, and technical validation.This role is not the overall project or program owner. Instead, it is a hands-on technical leadership role accountable for ensuring customer environments are implemented correctly and aligned with platform best practices.This is a high-impact opportunity within a growing enterprise SaaS organization supporting the Utilities & Energy sector, where technical readiness, security, and reliability are essential.Location: United States (Remote) with up to 25% travelDuties and ResponsibilitiesTechnical Implementation OwnershipLead the technical implementation workstream for enterprise customer deployments from kickoff through go-live, demonstrating accountability for delivery quality and outcomesConduct technical discovery related to customer environments, identity systems, integrations, data sources, and deployment requirementsTranslate business and implementation requirements into scalable, customer-centric technical configuration and deployment plansDefine, document, and manage technical design decisions aligned with platform standards and long-term maintainabilityPartner collaboratively with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure technical execution aligns with the overall rollout strategyTrack and document technical implementation activities to support transparency, knowledge sharing, and repeatabilityIdentity, Access, and Security ConfigurationLead configuration and troubleshooting of single sign-on (SSO) and user provisioning using SAML, OIDC, and related technologiesConfigure tenant setup, authentication flows, role mappings, and access controls to meet enterprise security requirementsCollaborate authentically with customer IT and security teams to validate connectivity, certificates, claims mapping, and identity architectureSupport enterprise security readiness reviews and document final configurations for long-term operational successIntegrations and Technical ConnectivityScope, design, and configure integrations with upstream and downstream customer systemsLead validation of APIs, file-based integrations, middleware workflows, and data exchange patternsTroubleshoot and resolve integration issues during implementation and testing with a calm, solutions-oriented approachPartner with Support and Engineering on complex requirements, defects, or product gapsEstablish innovative, repeatable integration patterns and best practices across implementationsData Migration and Environment ConfigurationLead planning and execution of data migrations, imports, and configuration deploymentsValidate source data quality, mappings, transformations, and readiness for importConfigure customer environments including templates, workflows, forms, users, permissions, and solution settingsPerform technical validation prior to customer UAT and go-live to ensure reliability and scalabilityEnsure customer-specific configurations align with platform standards while supporting flexibility where neededTesting, Validation, and Go-Live ReadinessSupport technical test planning for SSO, integrations, data loads, and environment configurationExecute or coordinate technical validation during customer UATIdentify and communicate technical risks, dependencies, and blockers impacting launch readinessSupport technical cutover planning and ensure clean handoff to Support and Customer Success teamsScalable Implementation Tooling and StandardsIdentify recurring implementation challenges and convert them into reusable tools, templates, and standard approachesDefine and evolve standard patterns for integrations, data loads, SSO configuration, and environment setupCollaborate with Product and Engineering to shape implementation tooling and platform enhancementsCreate documentation and technical accelerators that reduce manual effort and improve implementation velocityRecommend product improvements that enhance scalability, reliability, and customer experienceRequired Skills & Experience2+ years of experience in solutions consulting, implementation consulting, solutions architecture, or technical deployment roles within enterprise SaaSProven experience leading technical workstreams for enterprise software implementationsHands-on experience with SSO technologies such as SAML, OIDC, and SCIMExperience with APIs, integration patterns, and data migration or import processesAbility to translate customer requirements into scalable, supportable technical configurationsStrong troubleshooting skills across authentication, integrations, and environment setupAbility to collaborate effectively with customer IT teams, internal Engineering partners, and cross-functional stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build confidence and trustPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience implementing software for utility, energy, industrial, or regulated enterprise customersFamiliarity with mobile and web applications used in field or operational environmentsExperience with enterprise identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, or similar platformsExperience with configuration-heavy SaaS applications, workflow tools, or operational platformsBackground in technical architecture, enterprise deployments, or customer-facing solutions engineeringExperience with reporting or dashboards using Power BI or similar
