Job Description
โ€ข Organizes and prepares for the delivery of training, including LMS set up and learning environment preparation โ€ข Deliver business-as-usual training for multiple curriculums and training on advanced topics, including virtual instructor led training and train-the-trainer coursesโ€ข Reviews existing content, identifies supplemental content and prepares lesson plan/training solutions to meet business needsโ€ข Facilitates learning in an on-the-job training environmentโ€ข Facilitates written and hands-on assessments โ€ข Coaches learners to performanceโ€ข Manages classroom, including attendance tracking & maintains a safe learning environment โ€ข Responsible for partnering with HR & business leaders on employee issues and/or concerns (e.g., onboarding questions, ADA concerns, employee relations issues, inappropriate behavior, etc.) โ€ข Responsible for ensuring new employees complete HR & compliance onboarding training as applicableโ€ข Responds to business process and tool changes to ensure effective delivery of contentโ€ข Maintains personal training calendarโ€ข Analyses course evaluations and adjusts content and delivery to drive improvementโ€ข Provides training updates and communicates learning plans and strategies to business partners โ€ข Consults with business partners to identify root causes of training gaps and recommends solutions for identified opportunitiesโ€ข Partners with Learning Design to act as a SME to review content and make recommendations on the design of learning solutionsโ€ข In partnership with Learning Design, creates and facilitates train-the-trianer activities for business initiatives and provides formal mentorship and guidance to other facilitatorsโ€ข Participates on project teams and partners with the business to provide recommendations to operational challengesโ€ข Monitors training programs, assesses results and partners with Learning Design to implement enhancementsโ€ข Maintains training facilities and may assist in the refresh of training databases and environments โ€ข Completes administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner, including records of training activity
Qualifications
โ€ข 5+ years' experience conducting classroom trainingโ€ข Learning Industry certification or facilitation certificationโ€ข Demonstrates adult learning methods and can articulate the link between learning methods and learning objectivesโ€ข Experience in delivering virtual trainingโ€ข Experience in creating or enhancing learning aids (e.g., audio/visual aids) to enhance participant understanding of contentโ€ข Ability to interpret evaluation results and business metrics to evaluate training and enhance performance of delivery and curriculum designโ€ข Experience in coaching others towards improvement by applying cooperative coaching methodsโ€ข Demonstrates adaptability by responding to changing situations and priorities in a positive way โ€ข Builds and sustains relationships with co-workers and business partnersโ€ข Experience in implementing projects and process improvement initiatives โ€ข Effectively manages time and priorities and follows through on commitmentsโ€ข Technical skills and knowledge needed to facilitate core functional courses
