Responsibilitiesย 

The ย Technical Evaluator for Barbers is responsible for providing a secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable friendly environment.ย 

Securityย 

  • Maintain a secure testing environment and facilityย 
  • Maintain security of exam content and materials in accordance with Pearson VUE policies, procedures, and guidelines ย 
  • Adhere to Pearson VUE Security Best Practicesย 
Exam Administration and General Operations
  • Understands and complies with all testing procedures.ย 
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of Pearson VUE policies, procedures, and guidelines.ย 
  • Maintain a pleasant, clean, and professional testing facility which includes light cleaningย 
  • Record and report all problems or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner to the Test Evaluation Manager.ย 

Customer Serviceย 

  • Respond to candidate questions regarding exam evaluationย 
  • Always display professional and friendly demeanorย 
  • Listen and address questions and concerns in an appropriate mannerย 
  • Provide high quality customer serviceย 

ย 

Schedule Requirementsย 

Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work testing events on one to two Mondays per month - between the hours ofย 7am and 5pm. Candidate must be open to flexible scheduling.ย 

This is strictly aย part-timeย position and will remain as such,ย 10-20 hours per month, with an expectation to work more hours if needed.ย 

Schedules are available at least 2 weeks in advance.ย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • 2+ years' experience as a Licensed Barber Manager or Teacher is preferredย 
  • Must have a current Barber Manager or Instructor's License in the state of PAย 
  • Must not have any prior disciplinary actions from the stateย 
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferredย 
  • Experience working in a testing environment is preferred, but not requiredย 
  • Must be flexible in work hours and daysย 
  • High school diploma or equivalent is requiredย 
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of timeย 
  • Must have keen attention to detailsย 
  • Able to multitaskย 
  • Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, hear soft voices and see details from a distance.ย
