Job description

Atlas is a rapidly expanding company supporting the U.S. Military and other Government entities and we are seeking a passionate, flexible, and highly motivated team player to join our group of Technology professionals.
We are looking for a talented "Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) AN/BLQ-10 Engineering Technician". This is a fulltime position working out of Groton, CT.

The Electronic Warfare Engineering Technician will provide onsite installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of ISIS in accordance with DoD and U.S. Navy Maintenance Procedures, and Cyber System instructions.
Pay Range: $50,814.40 to $77,001.60, depending on experience and credentials.
Travel: up to 10%
You Will:
  • Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites
  • Perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BLQ-10 systems
  • Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems related to the operation of the BLQ-10 system
  • Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), Technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
  • Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)
  • Train others in the operation and performance of the system(s)
  • Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications and test procedures

You Have:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
  • Vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience investigating, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.

Education/Experience:
  • HS Diploma
  • Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent

  • VA Class experience
  • AN/BLQ-10 EW System Experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret US Government Clearance
