About you: Key Responsibilities
Ideally, you will have demonstrated extensive engineering / technical delivery experience within the nuclear industry. You enjoy collaborating in a harmonious team environment with a passion for coaching, mentoring and skills development and exemplify a nuclear mindset.
What you need to have:
  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in any of the following areas of engineering within the nuclear industry:
    • Submarine Plant Operations and Maintenance.
    • Nuclear infrastructure delivery from concept design to active commissioning.
    • Safety case definition, production, and substantiation.
    • Health Physics / Radiological Protection / Supervision.
    • Environmental monitoring.
  • Be willing to live and work overseas in Australia for between 3 months and 3 years, depending on the role.
  • Ability to obtain an appropriate Australian Visa.
  • Ability to hold and maintain a US-based Defence Security Clearance.
