Technical Sales & Service Representative (Northern Central US)Job Description

Market leader in Aluminothermic welding process for railroad applications, track maintenance tools, grinding services and many innovative products for railroad infrastructure is seeking a full-time Technical Sales & Service Representative interested in joining our team.

Job Responsibilities

In this key role, the Technical Sale & Service Representative will be responsible for sales & servicing the technical needs of our customers. Key performance areas include, but are not limited to:

Procurement of sales orders and inquiries for the entire range of products. Develop new business and maintain customer base for all products through active selling campaign. New product demonstrations. Field troubleshooting and problem solving. Maintain direct contact with welding supervisors and maintenance of way departments. Field training of customers. Plan and accomplish basic Thermit welding services as required. Hands on assistance in welding. Field visits and site audit reports.

Job Requirements

Job will be based in the Northern Central United States. Extensive travel required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including highly developed interpersonal skills. Must be a self-motivated likable hands on person. Experience with railroad industry, Aluminothermic welding, hydraulic equipment is a plus. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required Must be detail oriented and organized. Excellent time management skills, well organized and determined yet humble personality with can do attitude. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings (background, driving record, drug, etc.) Salary package commensurate with experience. We offer outstanding training and benefit package.
