Overview

PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Program Delivery Manager at our Tysons, Virginia location.  The Collections and Member Management Program Delivery Manager within Decision Management Execution (DME) will be responsible for supporting delivery of Collections and Member Management system releases and production support. This position will contribute to the overall delivery and operational maintenance of the Collection and Member Management Decisioning Platforms, including business analysis/requirements development through to deployment, and Production Support. The incumbent will leverage technical expertise and business acumen, in collaboration with program stakeholders including business product teams, internal IT teams, Compliance, and vendors/contractors to deliver business value while maintaining quality and adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Leverage technical experience and business knowledge to deliver consumer banking Collections and Member Management features to support business objectives.
  • Develop and document business process/workflows, requirements, and user stories in support of the agile development process.
  • Collaborate with DME testing function to ensure full-coverage and understanding of testing needs including integration, system and functional testing.
  • Support production release delivery including:
    • Understand and document requirements working in collaboration with the product team.
    • Support functional, system and integration testing efforts including coordination of test data and helping to troubleshoot as intermediary between testing and development team.
    • Coordinate with other program stakeholders for User Acceptance Testing, working to identify and facilitate resolution of defects found during UAT.
  • Assist with Risk and Controls testing and documentation, as needed.
  • Contribute to Production Support function including:
    • Management of DME production support queue.
    • Perform initial triage of ITSM tickets, creating defects and follow-up until resolution.
    • Assist with production incidents and return to BAU, including On Call Scheduling.
  • Lead Loan Origination platform operational activities including rate changes, server upgrades, certificate renewals and other administrator activities, as assigned.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners including Technology, Compliance, User Experience, Call Center Operations, Branch and others involved as stakeholders.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field is required.  Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in technical project management and delivery in application development/ management, and production support is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in financial services industry is required.
  • Knowledge of consumer banking products is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) is preferred, and experience with FICO LOS is highly recommended.
  • Familiarity with consumer banking product regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excels at working in a cross-functional team, with an inclination to take initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Experience using AI tools preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will not supervise employees.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Travel

Pay Transparency
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $69,000.00 - $133,792.00
This position is eligible for an organizational performance based annual bonus, subject to board discretion and approval.
