Job description

  • Role Title: Delivery Lead, AWS Migrations
  • Reports To: Practice Lead / Director of Delivery
  • Location: Remote (US-Based EST/CST Preferred)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time W2

Build what matters as a Delivery Lead for the Migration service area at RevStar. RevStar is a fast-growing cloud-native software and modernization consultancy focused on helping organizations migrate, modernize, and scale on AWS. We are seeking a hands-on Delivery Lead to own the successful execution of AWS migration engagements from kickoff through stabilization. This role sits right at the intersection of technical delivery, solution execution, and client partnership. You will lead cross-functional teams, participate in architecture discussions, and drive risk mitigation to deliver projects on time and within scope. Above all, the ideal candidate embodies RevStar's core values:
  • Self-Mastery: We hold a high bar for how we think, communicate, and improve.
  • Ownership: We own outcomes, not just effort.
  • Shared Destiny: We rise or fall together.

Your Impact Pillars
1. Migration Execution & Technical Leadership
Lead AWS migration projects across discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization. Partner closely with Solutions Architects and Engineers on migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, refactor), dependency mapping, and rollback plans. Participate directly in backlog refinement, estimation, and workstream sequencing to ensure pre-sales architecture plans execute smoothly in delivery.
2. Client Partnership & Account Ownership
Serve as the primary delivery point of contact for migration clients, managing expectations, scope, risks, and escalations. Lead internal and external status calls, aligning migration timelines and success criteria directly with client business objectives. Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) while identifying follow-on modernization and expansion opportunities alongside Sales and Solutions Architecture.
3. Team Operations & Delivery Governance
Oversee project assignments and team allocations across active engagements while monitoring pending sales forecasts to keep recruiting informed. Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product to maintain clean delivery milestones and transition phases. Enforce RevStar quality gates, migration playbooks, and delivery standards using tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
Requirements
What You Bring
  • Core Experience: 3+ years in technical delivery leadership, engineering leadership, or consulting within cloud or modernization spaces.
  • Technical Depth: Solid grasp of cloud infrastructure fundamentals (networking, compute, storage, IAM) and hands-on experience running large-scale cloud migrations.
  • Delivery Mastery: Full lifecycle Agile/Scrum delivery experience with a proven track record of driving clarity through technical ambiguity.
  • Nice-to-Haves: Active AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional), experience in regulated frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI), or professional consulting background.

Benefits
  • Paid Time Off - Take the time you need to recharge and stay productive.
  • Remote-First Working Environment - Collaborate from anywhere while staying connected with our global team.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage - Medical, Dental, Vision
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan - Plan for your future with access to a company-sponsored 401(k) program.
  • Annual Learning & Development Stipend - Invest in your skills with conferences, certifications, or courses.
  • Peer Mentorship & Coaching - Learn from experienced engineers, product managers, and architects to accelerate your growth.
  • Professional Growth Opportunities - Exposure to cutting-edge AWS GenAI, data, and cloud technologies across diverse industries.
  • Company Outings & Volunteer Opportunities - Build relationships and give back to the community.
  • Collaborative, Innovative Culture - Work alongside top talent in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values curiosity and initiative.
