Job Title: Contract Recruiter
Location: Elizabeth, NJ (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $60/hour
Duration: 1 year Contract
Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Contract Recruiter with a strong background in sourcing and recruiting within engineering environments. This is an urgent need for a hands-on recruiter who can quickly support hiring demands in a fast-paced, operational setting. Experience supporting roles within port, logistics, transportation, or industrial environments is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience in Asset Management, Civil and Structural Engineering, HSSE, Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Marine/Berth Engineering, Electrification, and Project Management.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering and technical roles
  • Proactively source and pipeline qualified candidates using various tools and platforms
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and timelines
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure strong alignment with role requirements
  • Coordinate interviews, feedback, and offer processes efficiently
  • Maintain accurate candidate tracking and documentation within the ATS
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to support hiring strategy
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on engineering or technical roles
  • Strong sourcing capabilities; must be comfortable building pipelines from scratch
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Elizabeth, NJ
