Job description

Our Data Solutions team is looking for a highly motivated Systems Analyst to join one of our agile development squads to provide analytical excellence in building and maintaining data in enterprise database platforms. The data infrastructure is going through significant growth, and this is an opportunity to take a leading role in shaping FI capability in this area. The work involves gathering requirements, data analysis, analyzing existing solutions towards modernizing the data platform.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in various systems analysis methodologies, including data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, uses case development, story writing, set-up / configuration of systems, user acceptance testing and product documentation
  • Outstanding conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities including synthesizing findings and developing practical and realistic recommendations.
  • Proven capacity to lead analysis of business systems and/or business process to identify user needs, document requirements, and address operation/ process issues/ improvements to accomplish business objectives.
  • Proven capacity to lead clarification and 'translation' of less-technical documentation and/or requirements into highly technical subject-matter for database / data projects
  • Strong data analysis skills that allow you to research and document the existing and future systems
  • Strong handson skills in SQL and/or Python for data analysis and validation. Understanding and prior analysis/working knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs will be a plus.
  • Experience working on ETL projects
  • Solid understanding of database design concepts and experience working with platforms such as Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3, and similar technologies
  • Experience working in Agile delivery models (SCRUM and/or Kanban)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to:
    • Convey data findings and insights to business partners in clear, businessfocused language
    • Translate business needs and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications for technology teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, team player, collaboration skills with experience coordinating across multiple teams and disciplines.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 36,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 128,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
