Position: Northside Gwinnett Rehabilitation Aide
Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Innovative Therapy Concepts is a Physical Therapist owned and operated Therapy management organization that was founded by Joe Sapp, PT in 2006. We began our partnership with Northside Gwinnett in 2013 to provide therapy services throughout the Northside Gwinnett system. ITC is searching for a Rehabilitation Aide that is passionate about patient recovery in a teamwork environment. As a rehabilitation aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation team in providing care to patients across various settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities and acute care hospitals.  Your assistance will contribute to enhancing the quality of life and functional independence of individuals undergoing rehabilitation.  Customer service is an important piece of working as a Rehab Aide.

We Are Seeking:
Rehabilitation Aide  with a strong drive to learn and grow while helping improve patient’s quality of life.

  • Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Supports patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength
  • Help maintain a clean and organized therapy environment
  • Transport patients within the facility for therapy sessions

Technical Competencies:

  • Use of intranet, Microsoft Outlook, Current EMR, MD Portal, Lawson, NetLearning, Microsoft Office Products, therapy related equipment, software and patient education resources.
  • Daily operation and basic maintenance of office equipment and machines such as phone system, fax, copier, etc.
