The Big Task
As an HVAC Service Technician Trainee, you'll support experienced technicians while learning to diagnose, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems. This role is designed to build your skills and knowledge for a long-term career in HVAC service.
Key Sub Tasks
โ€ข Assist experienced service technicians with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems
โ€ข Learn to identify system components, tools, and basic troubleshooting techniques under supervision
โ€ข Help transport and organize tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
โ€ข Follow all safety procedures, including handling refrigerants, electrical components, and heavy equipment
โ€ข Maintain clean and organized work areas, service vehicles, and tools
โ€ข Observe and learn customer service best practices, including clear communication and professionalism on-site
โ€ข Complete documentation of work performed and assist in recording materials used
